Yep, you got to be carefull with these shops and the first thing to do is always make a point of the proper place for them to place the lift and insure they will do what you say. Its a lesson learned and I hope you get something out of that shop to help satisfy you with what happened. I'm currently selling my 90' na. I took it down to get it state inspected for selling the car and the first thing I did was tell the guy about the lift points. He first tried to argue with me about the locations and in his arguement he said, "if anything I'll just use this area right here up front". He was talking about under the front fender right behind the front wheels. I jumped his shit and explained that whatever you do you do not want to use that area on one of these cars. After showing him why and seeing him turn a little pale he gave in to my demands and there were no problems. You really got to watch these guys. A lot of them assume they know everything just because they are mechanics.
